Research for my upcoming film INFAMOUS
When people ask me how much work I put into my scripts I tell them I go all out! The concept and theme for Infamous are from these sources of material. I also have an audio book of AMERICAN PSYCHO. I'm 80% through Night Stalker, and I just started reading Chainsaw Confidential. I've read Wanted more than a dozen times and it gets better with each read. I also got Crystal Lake Memories: Friday The 13th, The Joker, Behold A Pale Horse Mammoth Book Of Slasher Movies, Killing For Culture and Slasher Movie Book during the Christmas Break. Battle Royal is one of my favorite Manga comics I'm hoping the book is just as good. FEAR is a book I had in my collection for a while, I figure it will give me some excellent insight on the belly of the beast(Media). MANHUNT is a Playstation 2 game I had from back in the day. I'm slowly getting back into it. Prison Groupies is an excellent book talking about hybristophilia, this will add some ideas for Infamous. Research usually takes me a couple of weeks to do. Once I get a groove flowing I just write like a madman.This is just phase 1. Next time I'll show my second process.
