is a perfect day to announce my latest project. I will be posting

a synopsis later today, but for now this poster is a perfect fit

for this hybrid of Horror/Action and social satire. I will also

be posting influences from other horror film's, video games

and books that inspired me to create this new horror film.

First trailer for THE BEGINNING OF A NIGHTMARE

As post production is almost completed for my fan film THE BEGINNING OF A NIGHTMARE.

Here is the first trailer for  it. I was inspired by slasher flicks, and horror films form the 80's.

I did mostly practical effects for this film and learned a lot of new skills that enhanced my skills

as a filmmaker. I couldn't of made this film without my cast and crew. I will post the second trailer

later today with more details on what inspired me when writing for this film.

I found this well written article on school shootings. I find it odd how people think these random
act of senseless violence is a new thing. Spree shootings, mass murder and school shootings
have been going on since the dawn of the 20th century. In the early 1960's Charles Whitmen
shot and murdered innocent people from a clock tower. The only thing new to this violent
phenom is the sensationalized publicity from the media. Society has been intrigued by murder
and death, look at the gladiator games during the Roman Empire. The mass murderers get
24hr coverage and their entire life stories spilled out to the public. Then the social vampires
come to eat off the spotlight with their agendas. Will these shootings get worse, yes and what
can we as a society do to stop it........ We need to listen.
