Graffiti Is Dialogue: Canada Day 2016

Today was an amazing day. I was one of the artist doing a workshop for The Works Art & Design Fest, and it was a big success. It was a packed full event with people from all walks of life taking part in stencil art. I selected stencil art ranging from freedom fighters, revolutionaries and heroes. I was amazed at how many people wanted to use the Che, Malcom X, Guy Faux, Martin Luther King stencils. Now there are 40 people walking around with art work that they painted from the stencils I cut out. Also the stencils are pieces you can find on the web.

Back in the day(2004) I was convicted of vandalism doing graffiti on a commercial building. Fast forward to 2016, and I just completed an event for Canada teaching the Edmonton community how to create stencils using spray paint. I feel very great full to be allowed to do this event in the center of Churchill Square  Edmonton Alberta Canada, and on Canada Day!
