The screening for THE BEGINNING OF A NIGHTMARE

The Beginning Of A Nightmare

Last night I had the screening of my film and I'm happy with the way things went.
the film punches in with bold and spooky sounds mixed with striking bloody visuals.
It started with an idea and grew into a full on film that had a basic elemental structure.
The 3 big scenes that required special efx are the dream sequence, the c-section and the
face peel. I'm extremely pleased with the way things turned out given the circumstances
of budget and time during production. The constant theme was fire, knives and pain. All elements that
generate the killer mentality of FREDDY KRUEGER.

Principle photography began on Wes Craven's birthday August 2nd, 2013. We shot the film with
an intention to give the fans a short horror story to kick off Halloween. As a film maker I feel
a massive amount of joy and accomplishment that I have another film under my belt. The remake
was the main reason why I created the film. I felt Freddy deserved a more intense story.

Film making is an experience that takes up a large portion of your life and it's an evolutionary
step to becoming a master of the craft. I'm very happy with the cast and crew and I'm happy
to present it to the masses.
